About Dakota Williams
Arts administrator by day and freelance musician by night, Dakota spends their life surrounded by music. Dakota serves as the Associate Director, Education & Community Engagement Giving at the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, overseeing the fundraising for the Negaunee Music Institute. With experience in large orchestra, pit orchestra, chamber music and solo performance, Dakota is also versatile horn player. Dakota also has a variety of areas of expertise in arts administration including: direct fundraising, strategic planning, event management and educational programming. Dakota received a Bachelor of Music in Horn Performance from Lawrence University in Appleton, Wis.
